Don’t you just love it when you find prizeworthy skincare hacks? Us, too! That’s why we wanted to share three special ones right here.

Some of our favourite oils can double up as both skincare and hair oils. And lip balms packed with powerful, naturally hydrating ingredients can be used in all sorts of ways. Here are the details.

Pure argan oil for your hair

Argan oil for the face can work wonders for people with dry or stressed skin, but it’s also versatile enough for most skin types.

But what about your hair, you say? No, you don’t need to buy a separate product. The same bottle can be used on your hair and because of its high vitamin E content, it has a similar effect on overworked hair.

It can protect against sun damage, moisturise and condition, and even improve your scalp heath thanks to its natural antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It may also help work out issues with heat stressed or coloured hair.

How to use it:

  • Simply mix it with your conditioner in the shower for a quick argan oil hair mask.
  • Or apply to towel dried hair.
  • And go easy, because even a couple of drops can go a long way.

Olive squalene for your hair

First question, is olive oil good for hair? Absolutely, and people have been using it for centuries. If you’re more of an olive squalane type, you can also use this on your hair for maximum shine.

The headline benefit of olive oil for hair is that it’s powerfully, deeply moisturising. But it’s also thought that it may protect and soften your hair.

An olive squalane is simply a more skin-friendly version of the oil. Just a small amount can defrizz and add shine, giving you sleek locks with minimal effort.

How to use:

  • Just add a few drops to your palms and smooth it onto your hair in the shower.
  • Again, go easy to avoid overly covered locks.

Natural lip balms for your brows and dry skin

Ever thought about smoothing your lip balm onto your eyebrows? If the answer is no, you’re not weird. But you are missing a trick! Because a natural lip balm packed with juicy ingredients has lots of uses.

Lip balms are made to be super hydrating, because our lips loose moisture so easily. Choose a natural lip balm free from beeswax and petroleum and full of actives and vitamins and it will act as a powerful hydrator on dry bits.

Similar to a super-hydrating body cream, ingredients like vitamin E are the thing that work hard here to replenish moisture.

How to use:

  • Apply it to your brows for a laminated look with a spoolie or brow comb and get full brows in a swipe.
  • Dab onto dry, problem areas like knees, elbows and even feet for maximum benefit, locking in moisture and soothing your skin.
